End-User License Agreement
We are pleased to offer you a pretty-much unconditional license to use this program. We agree to let you copy it, alter it to suit your own needs, and re-distribute it freely, considering the following exceptions:
- If you make any modifications or alterations to the TalkinTurkey program, you agree to designate clearly what they are. If you include any of the copyrighted material (unchanged), you agree to give proper credit. You also agree to not produce/publish/copyright an altered version in any fashion that would restrict access to the material by other users or developers.
- Materials contained in this program that come from the PILAT program belong to MTI. They have given us permission to include them in the program. You agree to not make any alterations to these materials without contacting MTI directly. You can visit their web site at http://www.mti.org.
- The books Kick-Starting Your Language Learning and Language-Learning in the Real World are the property of Greg Thomson, who has kindly given us permission to include them in TalkinTurkey . You agree to not make any alterations to these materials without contacting Greg Thomson directly. His e-mail address is greg_thomson@telus.us.
- Lonna Dickerson has given permission to include her “Comparison of Language Proficiency Levels” chart (© 2008) and her description of the “Role Play” learning strategy (© 2000). - The dialogues from Pollard’s Teach Yourself Turkish have been recorded with the permission of the publisher for use with the book. You agree not to use the recordings unless you have acquired the Teach Yourself Turkish book, not to pass them on separately from the TalkinTurkey program, and not to alter them in any way.
- You may recoup any costs incurred in duplicating the program. You agree to not sell any copies of the unaltered TalkinTurkey program for a profit because some parts are copyrighted. If you choose to sell your altered copy of TalkinTurkey for a profit, you agree not to include any of the copyrighted materials without first securing the copyright permission of the owners.
